MORAL LESSONS LEARNED

Honesty is the best policy

All of us wants trust especially from our family or loved ones. But we need to be honest also in order for them to believe on us.Honesty is not that difficult to show or express, the problem is we are afraid of getting hurt or we might hurt the feelings of others.Remember…you cannot fix damaged things if the problem is not appearing. In a family, having challenges and problems are normal you can effectively handle and fix that if every member coordinates with trust and honesty.

Nothing is more attractive than loyalty

Loyalty is being a faithful person. Keeping words and doing promisses, and focusing on making plans for the future with just one person. Basically, loyalty is not hard to find but it is hard to uphold. A complete and pure loyalty benefits many things not just within the family, relatives, and friends but also in the eyes of God.

Don’t cross other’s line…make your own business

Knowing your limitations in life simply means respecting yourself and others too.Everyone has its own way of living to gain or achieve something, but we need to be careful to avoid stepping and ruining someone’s place. On the other hand, setting boundaries is very important especially if we have our own family or we enter into any relationship. We need to adjust and specify roles of people in our lives to avoid hurting someone.

Forgiveness isn’t a consent, it is a way to be free

Some thinks that they loses their pride because of forgiveness and that we are not a priest nor God to forgive. Forgiveness doesn’t mean we are approving or tolerating something bad happened but it means we are choosing to free our heart and rise above it. Forgiveness serves as a gift for ourselves.

IMPACT TO ME AS A 21st CENTURY LEARNER

Our way of life is not always as good as the combination of asphalt and cement, sometimes the road is rugged and muddy that’s why we are encountering difficulties to reach our destination.

Everyone wants to have a perfect kind of relationship or a family, but this is very far from the truth. No one can be perfect…just like in the story even the father that has already a child,he still commited mistake. However, even though we can’t be perfect let us try to be perfect. It doesn’t mean that because we are not perfect we’re just continuing to do bad things or commit mistakes.

Remember that we need to take care and protect our image in the eyes of God.As written from Study Bible in Leviticus 5:17 “If someone sins by doing any of the things that Jehovah commands should not be done, even if he is not aware of it, he is still guilty and will answer for his error.”
